About our Workshops
Discover The Creative Spirit’ Within You
Use your imagination and satisfy your creative spirit with a fabric sculpture workshop at Rolling Hills Studio!
Spend a day with Anja Kooistra at her country retreat and create your very own work of art. These one-day classes are designed to take you from concept to finished product, whether it is a figurine or another object.
Absolutely no experience is necessary.
In the morning, learn to form and cut the fabric. After a well-earned, delicious lunch, have fun getting messy while working with the hardener that will bring your artwork to life. Powertex is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly hardener that opens up a world of possibilities when it comes to fabric sculptures. Once it begins to harden, you will dry brush to create the three-dimensional worn effect. You CAN do it!
Did someone mention lunch?
What would an artistic day be without food prepared with artistry as well as great taste? Enjoy a vegetarian fresh prepared lunch, home made soups, salads home-baked goodies, apples from her orchard, a refreshing beverage at the end of the day and a willingness to accommodate any dietary requirements you may have … does it get any better than this?
Check out the Rolling Hills Studio workshopsAfter signing you up for each workshop, I will send more information by email or mail, explaining what is included and what to bring. Come to each workshop day prepared with the following:
